| One of my best because of the history behind these two lovebirds. These two were just drawn by me when I was 7 years old as two random dragons that were both supposed to b males. However, I found that the horn lengths were not the same length, so because of that (and my laziness), made it a male/female drawing. Then I found them to have interesting designs, so I made some details on the bottom about each, which lead to me putting them a lovers, giving them almost similar names (Azak for the male, Alex for the female). 11 years later, I found the old drawing while cleaning my room and remembered my childhood and when I drew this couple. Intrigued by what I had done that many years ago, I went back and started to redesign the characters, which lead to me going through many character reformats, taking me at least a few months to perfect an original design for the breed. This is were I go the idea of making Azak a half-breed, since he almost had the traits Alex had, but had other features that she didn't. Around the end of 2011, These two once again appeared before me and with enough motivation from my friends, I decided to go with a long forgot plot that involved these two, which gave birth to the Dark Hearts comic that is resurfacing today. I definately love these two and without them, I would not have probably been on Deviantart. |
